The SHIELD

A systematic seven step process to ensure your employees safety while in the work place.

Get Started

Step #1 NanoCoating for Unsurpassed Protection

Nano coat all applicable surfaces with a patented, multi-award winning product, designed to sustain a superior hydrophobic barrier impenetrable down to the molecular level. This technology facilitates future sanitation efforts with simple surface maintenance using our patented disinfectant products. Using micro technology our product creates a unsurpassed barrier of protection. Which ensures a continuous defense against any microbial threat.

With this exceptionally high crosslink density, we have the test data to prove that our surface protectant is the world’s best allaround clearcoat for resistance to scratches, chips, abrasion, chemicals, weathering, and more. Coatings contain “building blocks” with functional groups. The chemical reaction of these groups during curing forms a network. In most traditional polymers, the network is a linear chain of molecules with low crosslink density. Conversely, we “nanostructured” our clearcoat to have a 3D molecular architecture.

The 3D polymer network has an exponentially higher number of crosslinked sites. The result is a tightly knit mesh with unprecedented DMA density. High crosslink density provides highly functional surface properties, including unmatched corrosion resistance, scratch resistance, chemical resistance and UV durability. It also means low surface energy, repelling water (hydrophobic) and aiding in the release of ice, dirt, brake dust, and even concrete dust.

Step #2 Cleaning and Disinfecting

The traditional mode of action to combat transmission of harmful microorganisms on surfaces is to attack the germs with varying degrees of poisonous chemicals. These poisons are composed of alcohols, bleaches, and acids and are designed to target and destroy a microbe’s outer membrane resulting in a “chemical kill”. Antimicrobial biocides are toxic compounds that are harmful to plants and animals.

When a surface is coated with Our All Purpose Cleaner and Disinfectant, millions of “invisible” nanoscopic crystalline structures begin forming and bonding (with the surface), effectively forming a new surface. Resulting in a “mechanical kill”, that will kill the cells of the bio threat trying to attach to the object.

Our All Purpose Cleaner and Disinfectant is a one-step Ready-to-Use (RTU) disinfectant cleaner and odor neutralizer designed for general cleaning and disinfecting of hard, non-porous, inanimate surfaces.

Our Disinfectant kills 99.99% of common germs when applied including: virucidal, bacterial, fungicidal microbials and viruses including Coronavirus. Its proprietary formula creates a micro crystalline structure forming a covalent bond to almost any surface and is effective not only at application but continues killing harmful pathogens for weeks and months longer than typical disinfectants.

Step #3 Utilization of UV Air Cleaning Lights

image1060

We sterilize the air in the facility by using Hydro peroxide emitting ultraviolet lights. These lights are utilize to kill airborne viruses, bacteria, molds, mildew and VOC’s.

The Commercial PHI Unit is designed to reduce odors, air pollutants, VOCs (chemical odors), smoke, mold bacteria and viruses. The unit is easily mounted onto air conditioning and heating system air ducts where most sick building and IAQ problems start. When the HVAC system is in operation, the technology creates an Advanced Oxidation Process consisting of Hydro-peroxides, super oxide ions and hydroxide ions. All are friendly oxidizers that revert back to oxygen and hydrogen after the oxidation of the pollutant.

The UV light is designed to eliminate sick building syndrome and Dirty Sock Syndrome (DSS) risks by reducing odors, air pollutants, VOCs (chemical odors), smoke, mold, bacteria and viruses. The units are easily mounted into air conditioning and heating systems air ducts where most sick building problems start. When the HVAC system is in operation, the unit creates an Advanced Oxidation Plasma consisting of Ionized Hydro-peroxides, Super oxide ions and Hydroxide ions. All are friendly oxidizers. By friendly oxidizers, we mean oxidizers that revert back to oxygen and hydrogen after the oxidation of the pollutant.

•Hydroperoxide Ion distribution: Distributed through air handler

•Super Oxide Ion distribution: Distributed through air handler

•Hydroxide Ion distribution: Distributed through air handler

•Installation: Installed in HVAC duct or plenum

•Electrical: 24 VAC 0.7 Amps 17 Watts

•Materials: Aluminum and Polymers

•Cell Replacement Recommended after 25,000 hrs

•HVAC Blower Size: 1,000 - 6,500 CFM

This light is the next generation of IAQ technology. It’s designed to create higher Ionized Hydroperoxide output, which gives faster kill rates for microbials in the air as well as on surfaces. Also, this higher output drops more particulate from the air bringing relief to those who suffer from allergies and other respiratory issues.

• U.S. Military approved for mold reduction in field hospitals.

• U.S. and International Hospital approval for the fight against infectious diseases: 99% reduction of Staph (MRSA).

• Major U.S. city school reports 20% reduction in absenteeism.

• Tested and approved by the Chinese Government for protection against the deadly SARS virus.

• Approved by the USDA, FSIS, and FDA for use in food processing plants. Employed to reduce microbial contamination of food being processed.

• Cruise lines use it as a safety measure against Norwalk Virus outbreaks.

The UV Lighting can be installed in a wide variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications where a ducted HVAC system exists. Here are some examples:

• Single family homes, apartments, condos

• In hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and doctor’s offices

• Schools, daycare centers, colleges and universities

• Fitness centers, locker rooms, athletic facilities

• Office buildings

• Veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, kennels,

• Hotels, motels, and resorts.

• Food processing and manufacturing plants/facilities

• Restaurants, diners, and bars

Step #4 Air Balancing and Pressurization

We offer as part of the process air balancing of the facility. This

enables us to make sure that the proper amount of air exchanges are occurring in the building. This also allows the air conditioners in the facility to operate at its utmost efficiency and will cut down on the power consumption resulting in lower electrical bills.

When necessary we also offer positive and negative air pressurization to contain likely problem spots inside a facility. The objective is to create an atmosphere in which all possible airborne contaminates are confined. Using the Positive Pressure of the outside environment these hazardous molecules cannot escape their Negative Pressure confines.

Step #5 Copper Cladding with Antimicrobial Copper

image1062

How does copper affect bacteria?

Science suggests that copper surfaces affect bacteria in two sequential steps: the first step is a direct interaction between the surface and the bacterial outer membrane, causing the membrane to rupture. The second is related to the holes in the outer membrane, through which the cell loses vital nutrients and water, causing a general weakening of the cell.

Several clinical trials have studied the efficacy of bactericidal copper, including clinical trials conducted in active Intensive Care Units and healthcare facilities. These studies support the results of the EPA GLP tests – copper alloys reduce bacteria continuously and consistently. Bactericidal copper alloys are the first solid surface registered by the EPA to kill 99.9% of the bacteria that can cause infections like MRSA, when cleaned regularly. Its efficacy is tested and proven, which makes the ideal alternative to traditional materials for any environment.

Copper Cladding is a new solid antimicrobial copper coating solution that kills 99.9% of bacteria* and can be used to enhance nearly any form, shape, or type of solid surface including:

- Metals

- Heat-sensitive wood composites

- Tiles

- Polymers

- Plastics

Copper Cladding offers a premium enhancement to your finished product line and easily integrates into manufacturing at post-production. Our antibacterial copper coating is strong, durable and permanent -- unlike other chemical coatings or additives that might chip off of a surface, Copper Cladding never wears down or away -- with a thickness of up to .01 inches -- and remains active for the life of the product.

Copper Cladding uses a breakthrough new technology -- a proprietary thermal fabrication technique -- to heat the copper alloy, permanently binding antimicrobial copper to any shape or form during the manufacturing process, which starts and ends as solid copper.

Antimicrobial copper kills bacteria 24/7 and is registered to make public health claims with both the EPA in the United States and the PMRA in

Canada.

Copper Cladding opens the door for a number of opportunities in a time-sensitive and cost-effective way and offers a quick turnaround for prototyping and sampling. This innovative antimicrobial surface coating adheres permanently to the substrate. The versatility of Copper Cladding allows it to be used across many industries and products where the potential for exposure to infectious bacteria is a concern, including:

- Consumer appliances

- Healthcare bed rails

- Food processing equipment

- Toilet seats

- Handles and grips

- Light switches and other complex shapes

Antimicrobial copper is a material that appeals to architects, designers, and homeowners for high-touch surfaces in any environment. Both the antimicrobial properties combined with beautiful aesthetics make copper next generation surface that can easily replace stainless steel in public spaces such as fitness facilities and schools, as well as private spaces like hotel rooms and residential spaces.
